Privacy policy
How Striiing handles information shared through this website.
Staging review draft — business details and policy arrangements must be confirmed before launch.
Who looks after your information
Striiing Ltd (company number 15838907) is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact Ben Dixon at hello@striiing.com for privacy questions or requests.
When you make an enquiry
The form asks for your name, email and project description. Company, budget and timing are optional. We also record the submission time, originating page and an enquiry reference so we can handle the enquiry and avoid duplicates. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
We use this information to respond and discuss a possible project. Where you are the prospective client, this supports steps you request before entering a contract. For enquiries made on behalf of a business, our legitimate interest is responding to relevant business enquiries and arranging our services. We do not use this form to subscribe you to marketing.
Service providers
The website is hosted by IONOS. Enquiries pass through our website and Google Apps Script to a Google Sheet used to manage enquiries. Correspondence is handled through our business email. These providers process information as part of delivering their services.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. The applicable locations and transfer safeguards depend on the service agreements and account arrangements. These arrangements must be confirmed before this draft is approved for launch.
How long we keep information
Draft retention proposal for owner review: unsuccessful enquiries will be deleted 12 months after the last conversation. Project correspondence, contracts and financial records need a separate confirmed retention schedule based on their purpose and applicable obligations. This proposal is not an automated deletion service.
Website operation and music
The server processes technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the website. The final hosting-log retention period remains to be confirmed for this draft.
Our light/dark appearance setting is described on the cookies and preferences page. Google Analytics is optional and is only loaded after you accept analytics.
The music panel shows Ben’s current or recent track. It is not a music player and does not access your Spotify account. Album images are served by Spotify’s image service, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. Opening a Spotify link takes you to Spotify, where its own privacy policy applies.
Optional visitor analytics
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, popular pages and whether an enquiry is completed. Google receives technical browser and device information, page addresses without query strings or fragments, referring page information and interaction events. Analytics cookies distinguish browsers and sessions. We do not send the name, email, company, message, budget or timing entered in our enquiry form to Google Analytics.
Our legal basis for this optional processing is your consent. Rejecting analytics does not affect the website or enquiry form. You can withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer; this stops future collection and removes the analytics cookies accessible to this site. Withdrawal does not undo processing before withdrawal. Our implementation disables advertising personalisation and Google Signals.
Google provides this service and may process information outside the UK under its applicable data-processing and transfer arrangements. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. User-level and event-level data retention is set to two months without resetting on new activity. Aggregated reports may be kept longer. Applicable account agreements and transfer arrangements remain part of our launch review. Read our cookies page for storage and controls.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, corrections, deletion, restricted use or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Contact hello@striiing.com to make a request or raise a concern. We may need enough information to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Updates
We will update this notice when the way the site handles personal information changes. This staging draft requires confirmation of the business address, access arrangements, providers and retention before launch.
