01

The brief

London Sock Co. asked for a concept for a rewards app to promote its socks. The proposed experience would let people scan products they spotted out and about, collect rewards and redeem them with participating partners. The project explored how a physical product could become the starting point for a digital interaction.

02

The experience

The central idea is a simple exchange: discover a product, scan it and receive something in return. That gives the app a purpose beyond browsing a catalogue. For the design, the challenge was to connect product discovery and reward information in a way that felt like one coherent experience.

Making the concept tangible

The screens shown here explore the menu, product pages, promotional content and list views. They bring the proposed experience into focus at different levels, from an overview of the interface to individual mobile layouts. Product presentation remains an important part of the story, connecting the digital concept to the socks that inspired it.

Project scope

This was an app concept and interface-design exploration. The case study shows the proposed screens and visual direction, rather than a launched service or measured loyalty programme. Its value is in making the idea concrete enough to discuss, assess and develop further.
